Friends of HORTICULTURAL Therapy

Margaret grew up interested in plants and gardening as her father encouraged her in that pursuit. She attended Rutgers University - Cook College of Agriculture and majored in Plant Science. Margaret finished an AAS as a Physical Therapist Assistant, a B.S. in Liberal Studies and a M.Ed. in Education specializing in Special Ed by 2005. Since then, she has taken courses in Agriculture through Virginia Tech and local community colleges. Margaret plans to continue with course work in Landscape Design with an emphasis on design in the Healthcare field. Her professional memberships include becoming a Certified Horticulturalist in 2017.
